Job Overview:
The Technical Program Manager will oversee major technical programs in data center construction (colocation and hyperscale builds). The role combines project management, communication, and coordination across internal teams and external partners. You'll manage programs from start to finish, driving innovation and efficiencies in a highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of design or project management experience in data centers (preferred).
- Familiarity with construction cost estimation, scopes of work, and interpreting designs.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, BIM 360).
- Advanced Excel; AutoCAD familiarity is a plus.
- Other Skills:
- Strong communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Ability to problem-solve, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively.
- Travel: Up to 25% travel may be required.
Work Environment:
- Office-based with occasional time on construction sites.
- Some physical demands (walking, bending, climbing) and work near mechanical parts.
